Explosion
On January 23rd 2022, at about 9:46pm there was an explosion. Thankfully no one was injured. Police believe there was a bomb detonated inside of a vehicle. There was also a bomb detonated inside a vehicle on January 28th 2022 at 6:03 pm, at 20th Avenue/32nd street. And on the 29th of January 2022 around 12:00pm police found two pipe bombs. The suspect who denoted the bomb was arrested.
Homeless Facility
It is great news to read that a stable project is in affect to help house the unhoused. It is possible that this facility will be finished sometime in the fall. This will definitely make the unhoused feel safer and more secure. Even pets are allowed at this residence. As of right now there is no limit to how long people can stay at this facility. It will be ablet to hold about 125 people and is being built on Florin Rd. The units have heating and cooling and an outlet to charge phones, which will be very convenient. There will also be on-site staff to make sure everything is running smoothly.
